"This is Noble Dragon, we rehomed Dragon in October 2021 via the British Thoroughbred Agency now known as BTT (Beyond The Track) and he’s is the best 4yr old TB ever! 

I had been following them for a while and enquired about a few possible horses, having rode a TB in my teens I just knew I wanted one again!  In September, Dragon just caught my eye, I original was not looking for a young horse, but for me it was the right decision.

I had lots of questions all answered by Monique Lyle, Dragon was exactly what his description said. We had a online viewing, and before I knew it Dragon was vetted and then on his way home to me in England Kent.

Transport was easy to sort out, they kept me posted on his journey leaving Ireland, and the transport company kept me posted on his journey right up to 30 minutes before he arrived at his new yard in Kent.

BTT are fantastic, honest, kind and caring about these wonderful horses and their new owners. I keep in contact with them, even now I can ask any questions and they are so helpful providing advice and guidance back.

If I had the money and space I’d definitely rehome another TB from them, my experience has been only fantastic and positive."

"I had been following the British Thoroughbred Agency now known as BTT (Beyond The Track) for a long time and was very impressed with the work they did.

When I got in touch, Monique she was incredibly helpful. They were responsive to messages, took an interest in what kind of horse I was looking for, what my experiences were and gave honest feedback on the horses I had shortlisted.

I wanted a young horse and was very taken with River. A video call was organised for me to see him and ask questions, beginning from entering his stable to him being tacked up and ridden by Anna in the school, to a short hack outside. He was perfect!

The vet check and transport could not have been more of a breeze. Less than 2 weeks later, he arrived at my yard!

He had a gentle personality and was eager to learn. What an understatement. He is an absolute sweetheart! At only 3 years old, River is very calm and has a brilliant mindset. I've schooled him indoors and outdoors, hacked in fields of sheep, introduced jumps, rode bareback and even my 6yo has clambered on ... and he has taken everything in his stride (pun intended!). He is also the BIGGEST cuddlebug and often acts more like a puppy than a horse!

Having River join our family has been amazing, we couldn't be happier with him and the entire process with BTT. He is well bred, well mannered and just a really wonderful horse!"

"Meet the gorgeous Roo he is an absolute star. He is so gentle with my boys, the dogs and with my retired Mare, the two of them even share feed bowls and are like two peas in a pod.

 He really has become part of our family.

Monique was easy to talk to and brilliant throughout the entire process, they really listened and I felt supported the entire time, from sending me pictures and updates and guiding me through a virtual viewing and advising on transport. Once they introduced me to Roo I knew he was the one.

I have followed BTT for a while before finding Joe and I knew as soon as I saw him that he was the one. Monique is incredible who knows her horses and together with her people skills and expertise in the field of thoroughbreds she does an incredible job of matching horse with owner.  

Don't let buying unseen put you off.  I mean, generally speaking you would never buy unseen. The best buying situation is one where you know the history of the horse and at best, the person you are buying from. 

With BTT, you have the horse's history and genuine and professional ladies who's best interests are in the horses so getting their forever home right is a must. If you still feel nervous about buying unseen don't forget how the ladies might feel sending their lovely horse to a new owner they have not seen.

It works both ways so the process is thorough and you will feel well look after and it's very personal making the experience exciting and incredible finding your perfect partner more than a worry.  Moving forward to my Joe, aka Mountain Philip, he is everything they said he was and everything I thought he would be and more. I absolutely adore him.  

He made an epic journey from Ireland to Devon and from the moment he stepped off the lorry, he hasn't put a hoof wrong. I have had Joe for 3 months and the only thing that has been a challenge is managing the rest of my life because I spend all my time with him and absolutely loving it. I have taken him back to basics in the school to build his muscles up slowly, doing work which requires him to bend and use his body. It's all going really well. 

He is a kind gentle giant and everybody loves him. He enjoys a cuddle and is a perfect gentleman to handle. He is wonderful to ride and I am really looking forward to our future together. My 12 year old daughter rides him in the school and they are building a lovely bond.

“Well what can I say, buying Tivi (Multiviz) was the easiest unseen transaction we’ve ever done. From our initial enquiry we received a catalogue of available horses which we spent a couple of hours looking through. 

We narrowed our search by listing the horses that suited our needs (full reports on each horse in the catalog) we chose Tivi. After some brief conversations with the trainer/owner we knew she was the one. She was in Ireland so we chose to buy unseen as we were assured if we didn’t get on we could find her a new home via the British Thoroughbred Agency now known as BTT (Beyond The Track).

We organised transport and We haven’t looked back. She arrived and we got started straight away and she is a dream. We have now had her for a few weeks and we have already started some small jumps and she has been on hound exercise. The whole process was easy, from having a conversation first to discuss both mine and my new horses needs and to making sure we were a match. 

I then had a video call to see Ben and further talks. We decided to get Ben vetted and the whole process went smoothly. We  where over joyed when be past his vetting and getting him over from Ireland was easy and stress free.

“I came across the British Thoroughbred Agency now known as BTT (Beyond The Track) at the beginning of this year as my horse is suffering from navicular syndrome. I contacted them around July and two weeks later I had Shadow at my yard.

The service is outstanding and I explained the type of horse I wanted and they recommended Shadow immediately, I fell in love with him without having met him in person, he was just the horse I was looking for. 

We facetimed so that I could meet shadow and watch how he moved under the saddle, they answered all of my many questions without a problem and it never felt like I was asking too much of them. I know that purchasing a horse without meeting them in person is very difficult however you can trust the BTT as they are honest and realistic about the horses they are trying to rehome. 

Shadow has been with me for 4 weeks and he is the most amazing horse, exactly how they described with a very chill and brave personality with great potential. Next week we are doing our first jumping clinic so I am looking forward to having amazing times with him.

" This is tookie he was called Sammy in racing but was unnamed, I named him toclosetoo comfort (Tookie) for short. I found him whilst  looking for a new horse due to my old one not being able to do want I wanted to do with him. 

On my search I came across the British Thoroughbred Agency now known as BTT (Beyond The Track) so I had a look though the horse they had up for rehoming and I came across Tookie, he looked like the sweetest boy ever!

Reading his ad the it did mention that he only had one eye but that didn’t put me off. I arranged an online viewing with him as he is from Ireland. I fell in love with him and decided to buy him, the whole process was so straight forward and easy.

To say he has one eye, that doesn’t stop him, he is amazing and does everything I ask. I only got him mid march and it’s taken me a few months to get the race boy mode out of him. With lots of schooling we’re now going to our third show jumping show on Saturday which he has taken a liking to. He’s a very cute, sweet boy and I am so glad that I found him! 

My 1 year old daughter has a little walk around on him and they both love it, he is always very gentle with her.

When my daughter Melissa finally came to her senses and decided she wanted to join her mum back on horse adventures never would I have thought we'd have found her soul mate on Facebook. The BTT put up a wonderful video of a horse in Ireland and without a shadow of a doubt I thought....that's the one. After a night of a few gins and a bit of encouragement Melissa agreed and made the purchase.

After a long journey Nessie arrived a little bemused and tired but still had to walk 1/2 a mile to his new, more rustic home. First impressions were wow! Well you're taller than expected but that was a good thing. Since that day he's never put a hoof wrong. At 17.1 he matched my girl just fine. The scars for which he had passed over by many simply faded into non existence by his pure soul, kind heart and acceptances of his new world. In simple words ...he's better in person and a complete angel. 

The service and communication from Monique and her team have been second to non in my extensive experience of buying horses. They are approachable, professional and always on hand to discuss issues and...share a giggle.
